About Us

Our Mission & History

Our Mission

At Hawa Children's Home, we believe every child deserves a secure and happy childhood. Our mission is to provide a loving environment for orphaned, abandoned, and vulnerable boys. We are committed to nurturing their well-being, equipping them with essential life skills, and preparing them for a successful future.

Our History

Founded in 1997 by PCEA St. Andrews, Hawa Children's Home is a registered orphanage and rehabilitation center for boys in Kitengela, Kenya. In partnership with the Lions Club of Nairobi, Gigiri, we have established a facility with dormitories for 100 children. We currently care for 46 boys, from ages 3 to 18, many of whom are in secondary school, college, or university.
